Installing Libre Office 4.0 Ubuntu 12.04

Libre Office 4.0 just has been released. If you want to install it, follow this steps :)

1. Download Libre Office 4.0 for Ubuntu

    for 32 bit computer

wget -c http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.0.0/deb/x86/LibreOffice_4.0.0_Linux_x86_deb.tar.gz

    for 64 bit computer

wget -c http://download.documentfoundation.org/libreoffice/stable/4.0.0/deb/x86_64/LibreOffice_4.0.0_Linux_x86-64_deb.tar.gz 

2. Unninstall your current Libre Office

sudo apt-get purge libreoffice*

3.  Extract the downloaded LibreOffice 4.0, open the directory in terminal and install it by typing

cd DEBS && sudo dpkg -i *.deb && cd desktop-integration && sudo dpkg -i *.deb
